The Filippis Foundation Community Partners Grant Application Guidelines
The Filippis Foundation Community Partners Grant program supports nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations throughout Michigan and northern Ohio. We invest in our communities by supporting organizations that share our commitment to persons with disabilities.
Criteria
To be considered for a grant an organization must be both of the following:
- Nonprofit – 501(c)3 status
- Michigan or northern Ohio based and focused
Restrictions
Grants are not made to the following:
- Individuals
- Political organization, campaigns or candidates
- Extracurricular school activities
- Endowments
- Alumni associations
- Scholarship programs
- Research projects
- Multi-year pledges
- Operational expenses
- Group travel expenses
- Capital Campaigns
Timeframes
Grant applications are accepted year-round and are reviewed by The Filippis Foundation Grant Committee quarterly. Upon review, organizations may be asked to present to the committee.

Grant applications must be submitted in writing with the following:
