On June 30, 2011, MOS (formerly known as Michigan Orthopedic Services) discontinued providing orthotic and prosthetic services and entered into an agreement with Wright & Filippis, Inc. to provide those services for former MOS patients.
Because of this transaction, all patients who previously received services from MOS will now receive orthotic and prosthetic services from Wright & Filippis. We sincerely believe that every former MOS patient will benefit from this change. As a Michigan-based company with an established 67-year history of providing quality orthotic and prosthetic services, Wright & Filippis is excited about the opportunity to assist all patients who were previously served by MOS.

Here are some things you should know about Wright & Filippis and this change:
- For any and all future orthotic and prosthetic services, please contact the Wright & Filippis location nearest you. All MOS offices have been closed, but Wright & Filippis has 35 statewide offices (more than any other company) - including at least one location in the areas formerly served by MOS. - Wright & Filippis accepts more insurance plans than any other local provider, and we will work with you to coordinate your insurance coverage to make this transition as easy as possible for you.
- All Wright & Filippis facilities are accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) - and because Wright & Filippis has the state's largest certified clinical staff, we can offer experience, expertise, and access to innovative new products that is unrivalled in Michigan.
- Wright & Filippis has retained a number of MOS clinicians and administrative staff members and are being reassigned to various existing Wright & Filippis locations.
- According to a recent statewide survey, Wright & Filippis is Michigan's most preferred home healthcare company.
