Wright & Filippis has sponsored the Wheelchair Daze Picnic since 1980. This event is a free picnic for people of all ages, with any form of disability and their immediate families. The afternoon features carnival games, clowns, boat rides, a barbecue lunch, and much more for the whole family.  Because of the popularity of this event, we’ve also added an additional location in the Saginaw area to help serve people with disabilities in mid-Michigan.

28th Annual Wheelchair Daze Picnic
August 2, 2008 marked the 28th annual Wheelchair Daze picnic, held at Independence Oaks Park in Clarkston, Michigan.  Picnic-goers enjoyed a barbecue lunch, games, music, and boat rides.

Wright & Filippis would like to thank all of the hundreds volunteers who helped to make this event a success. We would not have been able to service all of the guests without your help. We would also like to extend special thanks to the Rubino Family for their generous donation of hamburgers, hot dogs and buns; and Pepsi for their donation of soft drinks. View the photos.
