Breathe Wright is a program by Wright & Filippis to assist physicians in managing patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). Over the last decade, COPD has become the nation's third leading cause of death behind heart disease and cancer. Wright & Filippis has combined state-of-the-art technology and enhanced services in this new program to help improve the quality of life of those with COPD.

Director of Home Medical Equipment, Tim Hatt states, "We are excited about the Breathe Wright program and the enhanced level of service it provides to patients with COPD. We expect it to be a big hit in the community."

On the service side, upon enrollment in the Breathe Wright program, credentialed respiratory staff performs an initial respiratory assessment, including overnight pulse oximetry and report the results back to the physician as a free service. Additionally, these patients will receive an Aeroneb Go nebulizer which reduces treatment time and significantly improves medication delivery.

Ongoing, Wright & Filippis continues to perform free respiratory assessments on a regular schedule, communicating results to, and collaborating with the physician to address additional needs in a more expedited fashion, thereby improving results.
