Filippis Foundation Supports Adaptive PE Class |
|
The Filippis Foundation
recently presented Lake Orion Schools with a grant to assist with the
establishment of an adaptive physical education class to benefit the district’s
students with disabilities. Wright & Filippis
Prosthetist Ken Eick, CP, was on-hand to present the $2,500 check to Lake Orion High School
to assist with the purchase of
much-needed specialized equipment.
The Filippis Foundation, a 501(C)3 non-profit
corporation, offers and supports a multitude of services and programs
that allow the disadvantaged and physically challenged the independence to see
their dreams turn to reality.
Here is an article
appearing in the Lake Orion Review about the Filippis Foundation’s
contribution.
