ROCHESTER HILLS, MI – Wright & Filippis, Inc., Michigan’s largest full-service home healthcare company, announced today that it has acquired certain assets of orthotics and prosthetics provider MOS, formerly known as Michigan Orthopedic Services. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition impacts all MOS patients who may now receive their orthotic and prosthetic services from Wright & Filippis.  Existing MOS offices will be closed with patients being directed to nearby Wright & Filippis locations.

 “The primary goal of this transition is to ensure there isn’t any interruption of service to both MOS patients and the hospitals and referral sources they serve,” said Steve Filippis, Wright & Filippis Vice President of Operations. “Included in this transition, Wright & Filippis is retaining many of the MOS certified clinicians who have a great reputation for providing quality care.  We are very excited to have both their clinical and office staff as part of our team.”

All Wright & Filippis locations, which specialize in the design, fitting and fabrication of custom orthotic and prosthetic (O&P) devices, are accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC).  MOS was an ABC-accredited provider with Michigan locations in Eastpointe, Flint, Lansing, Livonia, Novi, Midland, Saginaw and Southgate.
