Quality prosthetic care is the foundation upon which Wright & Filippis was built, and to this day continues to be a company priority. Anthony Filippis, Sr., a bilateral, below-knee amputee, founded Wright & Filippis in 1944 and he has been an inspiration to his patients ever since.

Orthotics

Orthotics, often referred to as braces, are devices that are worn on the arms, legs, back, feet and even the head, to support or strengthen that part of the body. A variety of materials, such as cloth, leather, plastic and metal are used to make orthotic devices. Some orthotics are premade, or "off the shelf." These devices are manufactured in a variety of sizes and a patient is measured for a proper fit. Many orthotics, however, are custom made in our in-house lab. Measurements are taken or a cast is made for an accurate, personal fit.

Home Medical Equipment

For patients who need specialized equipment in their homes, Wright & Filippis can provide it for you. Our professionals are certified in a wide variety of fields to meet your needs, and will assist you in every way, from placing your order to delivering it right to your home. We offer several types of equipment to suit your medical needs.

Respiratory

Wright & Filippis provides respiratory care as a part of our Home Healthcare services. The respiratory department is staffed by accredited clinicians who are on call 24-hours a day to assist you, and encompasses a variety of services so you're sure to receive the care you need. We can provide oxygen for your breathing assistance, sleep aids such as CPAP and BiPAP machines, and apnea monitors, phototherapy machines, nebulizers and more. In addition, all of our clinicians are CPR instructors.
