All cleaning and sanitizing must be performed in a clean environment.
After each use: Disassemble the medicine cup and rinse the cup and mouthpiece (or mask) under running water. Place the pieces on a clean paper towel to dry.
After the last use of the day: Wash the nebulizer cup, baffle, mouthpiece (or mask) and corrugated tubing in mild dish soap and warm water. *DO NOT wash or rinse the inside of the air tubing.* Rinse well under running water and then disinfect all parts (except the tubing) by soaking them in a solution of one part white vinegar and three parts water for 30 minutes. Discard the vinegar solution after use, rinse the parts under running water and place the parts on a clean paper towel to dry. When thoroughly dry, place all parts in a clean plastic bag or container until the next treatment.
Filter: The filter should be replaced every six months or sooner, if it becomes discolored. Contact Wright & Filippis at (800) 482-0222 to purchase replacement filters.
