Aerosol Therapy Cleaning Instructions |
 RINSING – After each treatment, rinse the nebulizer cup and mouthpiece/mask under warm, running water.
- WASHING – After the last treatment of the day, wash the nebulizer cup and mouthpiece/mask in a mild dish soap (NO anti-bacterial soaps) and warm water, then rinse well.
- DISINFECTING – Daily, after washing the parts in dish
 soap, soak them in a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water for 30 minutes. Discard the vinegar solution. Run warm tap water for three minutes, then rinse the parts thoroughly and shake off the excess water.
- DRYING – Place the rinsed/washed parts on a clean paper towel to dry. Cover all parts with another clean paper towel to keep them dust free. When thoroughly dry, store in a clean plastic bag or container until ready for use.
 FILTER CARE – Monthly, pull out the filter and check. Replace when dirty, or every six months.
