Wright & Filippis - Rehabilitative Health Care
Aerosol Therapy Safety Precautions
ai_safety_3655.jpgYour medication nebulizer is very safe to use when used properly.

You must follow these guidelines when using your Wright & Filippis medication nebulizer.

· Be sure to have a functioning smoke detector and fire extinguisher in your home. Smoke detector batteries should be changed every six months. A good rule of thumb is to change them every spring and fall with the time change.

· Your medication nebulizer should be plugged directly into a 120 volt electrical outlet. Do not use any extension cords or power strips. There should not be any major appliances plugged into the same outlet or circuit. Overloading an outlet or circuit could result in creating a fire hazard, a blown fuse or tripping a circuit breaker.
