Cleaning Your Equipment

The mask should last 6-12 months with proper care. Wash contact areas before applying the mask each night.
1. Wash or rinse mask daily after use.
2. Wash the mask and frame in warm water using a mild detergent (do not use alcohol-based products).
3. Rinse well.
4. Soak mask and frame in 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water for 20 minutes.
5. Rinse well and let air dry.
For a simpler procedure, use our CPAP mask wipes that require no rinsing, washing or soaking.

Headgear
Wash as needed. The straps and headgear may be machine-washed and line dried.

Hose
Using Tubing Wrap will help keep condensation out of the hose.
1. Wash weekly in warm water.
2. Rinse well.
3. Hook tubing to machine to dry inside of tubing.

Humidifier
1. Empty humidifier daily.
2. Rinse.
3. Soak humidifier chamber using 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water for 20 minutes.

Flow Generator
1. Unplug unit.
2. Wipe with warm cloth and dish soap to clean surface as needed.
3. Dry unit before plugging in.

Intake Filter
1. If disposable, the filter should be changed as directed by the manufacturer.
2. If non-disposable, wash as needed in cool water and mild detergent.
3. Rinse well.
4. Squeeze filter well in cloth towel. Allow to air dry before replacing.
