Placing the Panel on the Baby |
- Lay the baby on his/her back.
 Lift the baby’s legs and slide the panel underneath until the entire area of the panel is under the baby. The wings of the vest should be just under the baby’s armpits. The fiber optic cable should be between the baby’s legs. - Fold the wings snuggly across the baby’s abdomen, placing the side without the adhesive strips on the bottom and the side with the adhesive strips on top. Do not over tighten the wings across the abdomen. There should be enough room to slide your finger easily between the baby and the vest. Secure the vest using the adhesive strips. Do not tape the vest directly to the baby’s skin.
You may wrap the baby in a blanket or clothe the baby as long as the light panel continues to shine directly onto the baby’s skin. There should not be anything other than the vest between the baby and the panel.
