AmpuTeam Basketball Challenge – April 5, 2007
AmpuTeam Spartans vs. Beaumont Hospital All-Stars In the 5th installment of the Amputeam Basketball Challenge, the Amputeam Spartans took on the Beaumont Hospital All-Stars in a charity game. The event raised $2700 for the Extremity Games and the Beaumont Pediatric Foundation, and was won by the Spartans by a final score of 47-37. It was a great night for all involved, with appearances by Elaine Powell of the Detroit Shock and the Thunderbird Wheelchair Basketball association. The Spartans proved their worth during the hotly contested game and pulled away at the end for the convincing victory. Any hospital system that feels they can field a team to challenge the Spartans, our boys are willing and able to meet the challenge head-on!
