AmpuTeam Basketball Challenge – June 28, 2007
AmpuTeam Spartans vs. Crittenton Hospital All Stars

On June 28, the Amputeam Spartans challenged the Crittenton Hospital All-Stars in a charity basketball game designed to raised money for the Extremity Games and Crittenton Charities. In a hotly contested game, Crittenton eventually pulled out a gutty 50-44 victory against the valiant Spartans in front of an enthusiastic crowd at Lutheran High School in Rochester Hills. Most importantly, the game continued to raise awareness of the abilities of our amputee population, and raised almost $1,500 for our selected charities through donations, ticket sales and raffle drawings. The Spartans now stand at an overall record of 2-4 in the ongoing Amputeam Basketball Challenge series, and will be more determined than ever to improve that record during the next game.
