Detroit Mayor Dennis Archer and Rochester Hills Mayor Pat Sommerville toured the Rochester Hills location in early September. The mayors were here in support of a new program to teach doctors in Africa how to make prosthetics in an effort to help those injured by war. As part of the tour, both mayors learned how to make and fit a prosthetic leg.
