Wright & Filippis Expands
Program with UAW-Ford

Wright & Filippis has just expanded its current agreement with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to provided selected healthcare services for all UAW-Ford hourly employees. Under the new contract, Wright & Filippis, utilizing its national network, will serve as that group's exclusive provider for prosthetics, orthotics, and home medical equipment.

"We're proud and fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to provide these services - it's an arrangement that has proven to be very successful."
This agreement expands on the two-year-old national program in which Wright & Filippis provides services for those Ford employees with Traditional Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance coverage.

The new UAW-Ford program, which began January 1, 2002, impacts the healthcare services offered to approximately 95,000 Medicare-eligible retiree's, and surviving spouses and dependents. It is estimated that nearly forty percent of those beneficiaries live in Michigan.

"
This arrangement gives UAW-Ford employees greater access to the best home healthcare services available," said AJ Filippis, President of Wright & Filippis. "We're proud and fortunate to have the opportunity to work closely with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan to provide these services - it's an arrangement that has proven to be very successful."

Wright & Filippis has also reached an agreement to serve as the direct provider of prosthetics, orthotics and home medical equipment for Aetna U.S. Healthcare in Michigan. Wright & Filippis has more than 40 preferred provider agreements, streamlining healthcare services for the employees of companies both locally and nationally.
