AdministrationKen Woodward, Director of Prosthetics, and Craig Grigsby, Certified Prosthetist in Warren, were honored at an M-Star Dinner this spring. The Michigan Society To Advance Rehabilitation presented them with awards for their efforts in making M-Star a success and for extending help and support services to amputees of Michigan. Additionally, Ken was presented with The Humanitarian Service Award for working diligently to improve the health and well being of others.

Cass City – Employee Jim Allen will be transferring from Saginaw to head up the new W&F Cass City
facility. This facility opened in March and will provide our full line of services to those living in Michigan's thumb area.

Escanaba – Now that they've settled into their new facility, they're ready to begin planning their open house to be held this summer. Stay tuned to the Communicator for the upcoming details.

Indianapolis – This facility has recently experienced some changes, beginning with a new manager. We'd like to welcome Susan Tague, who is eager to begin working as their branch manager. Some new staff members were added to their team and the facility is focusing its efforts on marketing their home medical equipment and respiratory services.

Kalamazoo – Kalamazoo has been featured on the local news for their work with a very special patient. 22 year old Ana Solis, from Mexico, visited Wright & Filippis to be fitted for a prosthetic forearm by Rob Wagner. Rob and the Kalamazoo staff were happy to help and they'd like to thank "Healing for the Children" for facilitating this donation.

Lincoln Park – June 28
TH will be the date for the Lincoln Park Downriver Cruise. Everyone is invited to join in the fun at Wright & Filippis annual celebration. There will be food, music and several authentic cruisin' cars to be seen.

Port Huron – The 2
ND Annual "Thumbs Up" Golf Tournament is coming up on August 8TH, to benefit the Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame. The Lapeer and Port Huron facilities are organizing this event in conjunction with the Marlette Community Hospital. This all day golfing event will feature an 18 hole course, a 4-person scramble, various prizes, and (hopefully) some nice weather!

Toledo – The Toledo facility has new neighbors! Toledo Active Infusion has moved into an adjoining suite with Toledo Wright & Filippis. This additional space will give everyone plenty of room and will allow the offices to work together more closely.
