Letter from the Prez

In 1944, my father, believing that people with disabilities should be able to enjoy the same lifestyle and freedoms of able-bodied people, decided to do something about it. He partnered with a gentleman named Carl Wright, and together they opened a small prosthetics shop in Detroit. Now, 60 years later, that one small shop in Detroit has grown to 30 locations, offering a complete line of home healthcare products and services.

As we prepare to celebrate our company's anniversary in 2004, I would like to thank the people who have trusted Wright & Filippis with their healthcare needs. It is because of your trust and commitment that we have become the company we are today. I would also like to thank all of the dedicated employees - for it is their outstanding efforts that allow Wright & Filippis to service the needs of everyone who walks through our doors, calls our offices, or has equipment delivered to their homes.

To show our appreciation, we have several community projects planned for 2004 – we're especially excited about our Charitable Donation Program, in which Wright & Filippis will donate a grand total of $60,000 to a variety of non-profit organizations. We will also be implementing several other programs throughout the year, which are all outlined in this newsletter, as well as on the Wright & Filippis website, www.FirstToServe.com.

Again, I'd like to say "Thank you" to everyone for your support over the years, and we look forward to our 60th year of being "First to serve, and first to care."

Sincerely,
AJ Filippis
