Employee Updates
News from Human Resources by Karen Kimberly The Employee Benefits Program and Wright & Filippis have an annual Open Enrollment period every 4th quarter. An Open Enrollment period is a time to review your current benefit plan enrollment and consider any changes you wish to make for the 2004 plan year. Changes made in this process become effective January 1, 2004. Changes you may consider could be related to: Optional Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance coverage amount Level of Long Term Disability (LTD) coverage Coverage for eligible dependents Voluntary enrollment into Health, Dental and Vision plans Your beneficiary designation All employees will receive a customized benefit election form. This form is not only your enrollment form, but will also detail your current elections. Please note: All employees are required to respond to this open enrollment offer, even if you are not wishing to enroll or do not wish to make changes to your current enrollment. Informational meetings will be scheduled for early November. These meetings will be an opportunity for you to learn about plan enhancements, the enrollment process and deadlines, and to ask questions regarding your personal options. Watch for this meeting schedule in your Friday Folders and plan to attend a meeting near you! |
