W&F Helps the American Lung Association Breathe a Little Easier

The American Lung Association of Michigan recently held their annual Breath of Life Walk, and Wright & Filippis was not only a sponsor of the event, but also had a team of 5 members participating in the walk. Toni Moore, Colleen Latimer, and Trish Samuelson from Flint along with Krystal Hardy from Saginaw and her mom formed the five-person team that raised about $500 for the organization. Ken Whitson (Flint) represented Wright & Filippis at the event, manning the display and chatting with participants as they passed by.

The ALA will use the money raised from the event tosupport research to cure lung disease, asthma education, tobacco education, and air quality advocacy.
