Letter from the Prez

As we are nearing the end of our busy event calendar for this year, I would like to take the time to thank all of the people who have worked so hard to make our recent events so successful.

First, I'd like to thank the sponsors, participants and volunteers who helped the Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Benefit raise funds for the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan and the Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame. Your support is always appreciated and helps to make the day a success year after year.

I would also like to thank all of the Wright & Filippis volunteers, family members and friends who came out to Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston for our annual Wheelchair Daze Picnic. With record attendance of 1,500 guests, each and every volunteer did their part to ensure that everyone's needs were met. This picnic could not happen without your help.

These annual events benefit thousands of people, either directly or indirectly, in our community. I'm proud that of this important role that Wright & Filippis plays, and I'm personally appreciative of the generosity and significant efforts demonstrated in support of these events.
