Facility Spotlight:
Lincoln Park

We'd like to introduce you to Wright & Filippis' Lincoln Park facility. Wright & Filippis has been in this location since 1996.

Managed by Rhonda Costello, the staff of 13 operates a full-service facility with a complete range of services - prosthetics, orthotics, home medical equipment, respiratory, and wheelchairs. They have an in-house prosthetics and orthotics lab as well as a warehouse and a distribution facility.

"We have six Customer Service Representatives (CSR), an orthotist and a prosthetist, a person who does our filing, and three respiratory clinicians who work out of this office," said Costello.

The Downriver Distribution warehouse is supervised by Paul Mirasola, and has one dispatcher and seven drivers. "We run four trucks every day, making about 250 deliveries a week. We cover one-quarter of the metro area," said Mirasola. "We are on-call 24 hours a day for all of Detroit, south of Eight Mile Rd."

The Lincoln Park facility is involved in several community events, including wheelchair basketball games to benefit local organizations; they support the local Goodfellows during the holiday season; and they participate in the Cruisin' Downriver dream cruise each year.

The Lincoln Park facility is located at 4050 Fort Street, and can be reached at (313) 386-3330..
