Wright & Filippis SUPPORTs
State of Michigan Employees

In the fall of 2004, Wright & Filippis was pleased to announce that in conjunction with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, ABP Administration was awarded the contract for State of Michigan employees. ABP Administration is a division of Wright & Filippis, Inc. and is a Third Party Administrator for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics.
Under the State Health Plan PPO, ABP Administration will administer benefits for Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics and Orthotics. The extensive network of preferred providers throughout the state should make access readily available. The program known as SUPPORT, which stands for Select Utilization of Providers for Prosthetics, Orthotics and Rehabilitative Technology, has over 13 years of experience in benefit administration.
The program began October 1, 2004 for Michigan State Police and Troopers & Sergeants Association active members. On November 1, 2004 retirees from the above group and all other State of Michigan retirees became effective. Using a SUPPORT Program provider for covered services means no out-of-pocket costs for members. We are looking forward to April 1, 2005 when all active State of Michigan employees will be added to the SUPPORT Program. We are excited to offer these members high quality customer service and products.
The SUPPORT Program also administers programs for MPSER (Michigan Public School Employee Retirees), DaimlerChrysler BCBS Traditional and PPO, Ford Hourly BCBS Traditional & PPO.
