Open Houses Offer New Options
After Mastectomy

In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, women who have had or who are preparing for a mastectomy had the opportunity to visit True Reflections for Women post-mastectomy open houses at various Wright & Filippis facilities. True Reflections for Women is a unique Wright & Filippis program that provides women with real choices and real solutions after breast surgery. The open houses were held throughout the month of October and were open to women who wanted to learn more about their options after surgery.


"The goal of the open houses was to recognize October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and give patients the opportunity to see new items that are available to them after surgery," said Pam Lupo, CO, Wright & Filippis Director of Post-Mastectomy Care. "We had representatives from Camp, Amoena, Jobst, and Juzo to show the newest, state-of-the-art materials in breast replacement, as well as products for compression therapy."

Wright & Filippis held the open houses at the Ann Arbor, Livonia, Farmington Hills, Warren and Rochester Hills facilities. The events were very well-received and beneficial to those who attended.
