Letter from the Prez

Wright & Filippis holds its annual Employee Appreciation Weekend each autumn, and as our event approaches, I realize that another year in the life of W&F is almost behind us... and a good year it has been. This year we have moved our Southfield facility just a couple miles west into Farmington Hills, giving them some additional "elbow room" (in fact, more then doubling their space). Saginaw is now relocating into a building twice the size of their previous location. And before the first snowfall, we'll be opening new facilities in Clinton Township (on Hall Road near Heydenreich) and Ferndale (on Woodward just south of I-696). As you can see, we are certainly on the move, and this growth would not be possible without the efforts of our great staff.

Our Employee Appreciation Weekend always includes plenty of fun activities, but more importantly, we like to use the meeting as an opportunity to recognize our employees for their hard work and dedication.

As you'll see in this newsletter, we have nearly 100 employees who have been with Wright & Filippis for five years or longer, including one employee who is celebrating his 35th anniversary with the company.

I feel a tremendous sense of pride when I see that so many employees believe in our company's mission and have enjoyed being part of the Wright & Filippis family. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and dedication.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome all of our new employees - you're in good company.
