WELCOME to the January/February edition of the Online Communicator
Happy New Year! Welcome to the January/February edition of the Online Communicator. February is National Heart Month, and in conjunction with that we are featuring some important tips to recognize symptoms of a heart attack and cardiac arrest. Additionally, Wright & Filippis is proud to now carry the Philips Heart Start On-Site Defibrillator at all of its facilities. These portable defibrillators are available for purchase by anyone, without a prescription.
Wright & Filippis is announcing an exciting new program for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) - the Breathe Wright program. This unique program is designed to help improve the quality of life of those with COPD. We are continuing our Facility Spotlight feature - in this edition you will meet the staff of the Saginaw facility and learn of the many ways in which they are involved in their community. The staff there is also enjoying the many benefits of being in a new, larger building. The Central Supply department is now carrying two new products for people with diabetes - the Accu-Chek Aviva monitor, which is designed for alternate-site testing, and the Jobst Sensifoot Diabetic Socks. The socks are ideal for providing protection and comfort to people with diabetes. We hope you enjoy this edition of the Online Communicator. If you would like additional information about any of the products featured in the Communicator, please contact your nearest Wright & Filippis facility or visit our website at www.FirstToServe.com. As always, we welcome your feedback.
