Letter from the Prez

The beginning of autumn always signals a time of change – the leaves on the trees change from lush green to brightly colored reds, yellows and oranges; the air turns crisp; children head back to school (much to their parents' delight); and nature prepares for winter hibernation. It's an exciting time when people look forward to football season and upcoming fall and winter holidays.

This is an exciting time for us at Wright & Filippis as well. It's the time of year when we hold our annual Employee Appreciation Weekend and I have the opportunity to personally thank all of the individuals for their time, dedication and hard work, whether they've been with Wright & Filippis for five years or 35 years. It gives me a great sense of pride to know that so many individuals enjoy being part of the Wright & Filippis family.

I'm also excited to announce the opening of our newest facility – the Pediatric & Mobility Center in Madison Heights. Giving the best care to our young patients is of ultimate concern at Wright & Filippis, and that's why we've designed this facility to put children at ease during their appointments. With a spacious waiting room, colorful fitting rooms, and toys and games to entertain them, children can have their measurements and adjustments made in the comfortable space provided, without the intimidation that may be associated with traditional patient rooms.

The Pediatric & Mobility Center also houses our Central Fabrication lab as well as our Mobility Center for custom wheelchairs. It is the focus of this edition's Facility Spotlight, so I encourage you to read more about all it has to offer.
