AmpuTEAM Basketball Challenge – February (TBD) 2007
It's the AmpuTEAM Spartans battling the All Stars from Beaumont Hospital in a five on five basketball game. This fundraiser will benefit Beaumont's Special Equipment Fund and is held at Keller Middle School in Royal Oak. Tickets are $5 each and will be available at the door. A Taste of the World Wine
Tasting Adventure – March 1, 2007
You are invited to embark on this grand adventure that will tantalize your taste buds, held at the Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw. Come experience authentic wines and beers from around the world and help raise funds that will directly benefit the Field Neurosciences Institute Stroke Prevention Program. Vineyards of the World Wine Tasting Event –
March 31, 2007
As a benefit for the Peoples' Clinic for Better Health, partaking in this adventure will take you on a tour of the most enticing vineyards from around the world. Michigan Health & Rehab Conference –
April 20, 2007
This conference, created specially for healthcare professionals, promises to be a dynamic interdisciplinary program. Intended to address the multiple issue facing our rehabilitation patients, you can receive 6.5 continuing education credits while attending two keynote sessions as well as three breakout sessions of your choosing. Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Benefit – June 4, 2007
For 23 years this golf outing has raised money and awareness for a variety of non-profit organizations. This fun-filled day hosts two shotgun starts for over 300 people and is held at the Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester. Wheelchair Daze – August 4, 2007
This free event is for people of all ages with any form of disability and their family and friends. With carnival games, clowns, tattoos, a petting farm, barrier-free boat rides, music, dancing, and a barbecue lunch, this entire event is free, including park admittance and parking.
