Letter from the Prez

As 2006 comes to a close, I am honored to see the number of different organizations Wright & Filippis has been able to financially assist this year. Our Community Outreach Committee has been in place for five years, and each year brings new opportunities for education, awareness and involvement for Wright & Filippis within our community.

Charitable giving is an important part of our company's principles. For over 60 years, Wright & Filippis strives for continuous improvement, and this allows us to offer our resources while fulfilling the needs of others.

The Community Outreach Committee meets monthly to review financial requests from different organizations in the form of sponsorships, exhibit booths, golf outings, special events, and partnerships. 2006 was a record year, and the committee was able to give much-needed funding to over 225 organizations.

Some groups we've been able to assist this year include the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan, Michigan Osteopathic Association, Brain Injury Association of Michigan, Special Olympics, American Lung Association, Karmanos Cancer Institute, and many others.

We understand the importance of each request we receive, and I would like to thank each organization for bringing to our attention their initiatives within the community. When we work together, we can make a difference in the lives of others.
