The Detroit Lions
Honor the Late
Tony Filippis

Formerly know as the Detroit Lions celebrity bocce tournament, this year, in honor of Wright & Filippis founder Tony Filippis, The Detroit Lions renamed the event the Tony Filippis Memorial Bocce Tournament. The tournament was held on May 24th 2007, at the Palazzo di Bocce in Orion Township, MI. Proceeds went to Detroit Lions Charities to benefit, among other groups, the Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Famesm. This year's event was led by honorary chairmen Tony Battaglia, AJ Filippis, Hoot Mclnerney, Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Paterson and former Lions lineman Mike Utley. Wright & Filippis would like to extend its gratitude to the Detroit Lions for honoring a great man and sharing our mission to help others.
