Vineyards of the World

On March 31st, 2007, Wright & Filippis, in association with the Mercy Hospital Foundation, celebrated the 5th annual Vineyards of the World Wine Event. Vineyards of the World supports the People's Clinic for Better Health in St. Clair County.
The People's Clinic is the centerpiece of Mercy Hospital's Mission. It is a collaborative project in St. Clair County, including Mercy Hospital and the St. Clair County Medical Society. The clinic is also funded in part by the United Way of St. Clair County. The free medical services are available to those who are uninsured and lack the resources to pay for their care.
The event was held at Fore Lakes Country Club and included new releases from vineyards around the world. These wines were complimented by foods which were prepared by talented chefs.
This year, over 350 guests enjoyed these exotic foods and wines while helping to raise $49,000. Thank you to all who participated and we hope to see you next year.
