Alpena – New & Improved
When it comes to home healthcare, bigger is definitely better. Better customer service, that is, which is why Wright & Filippis has made a sizable investment in the Alpena community with the opening of its new 6,600 square-foot facility. With this move, Wright & Filippis, Michigan's largest home healthcare provider now has the ability to provide expanded services to all of Northeast Lower Michigan.
Located at 1201 W. Chisholm, the larger facility features a greater number of patient-care rooms and improved parking for customers. The new building also allows Wright & Filippis to warehouse a greater variety of home medical products on-site, and its state-of-the-art fabrication lab will improve the staff's ability to deliver customized products as quickly and conveniently as possible.
"We're thrilled to be settled into the new building," said Alpena facility manager Michelle Taliaferro. "We've only been open for a few days, and the response we've already received from customers has been incredible.
"With the enhanced services available to residents throughout the region, this facility should prove to be a tremendous resource for the entire community."
The Alpena location is a full-service facility offering a complete range of services including prosthetics, orthotics, home medical equipment, respiratory care, and wheelchairs. The new facility, located at the corner of West Chisholm and 13th Street, can be reached at (989) 356-2034.
