9th Annual Induction Ceremony & Award Dinner
The 9th Annual Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Ceremony will be held at the Marriot Hotel in Troy, Michigan on Thursday, November 1, 2007.

Established in 1999 by Tony Filippis Sr., the founder of Wright & Filippis, to celebrate the achievements of outstanding athletes and community leaders who have continued to achieve their goals while becoming a symbol of hope and inspiration for generations to come. For information on sponsorship packages or tickets, email info@adhof.org.

Each year, Wright & Filippis makes it a point to get involved in community fundraising events. This year the company will participate in a cause that is close to the heart of our patients. Wright & Filippis will join hundreds of other corporations and families in our communities for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) 2007 Walk to Cure Diabetes. The walk will be held on Sunday September 23, 2007 at the GM Tech Center in Warren, MI. The event will feature live music, entertainment, special attractions, food and activities for children. Proceeds from the walk will support research that is vital for finding a cure for type 1 Juvenile diabetes.

A contest was held among employees to come up with a team name. Congratulations to winner Vikki Rogers, CSR from Battle Creek, who named the Wright & Filippis team "Walking Wright Toward a Cure."

Up until the walk, Wright & Filippis will be having several fundraisers for employees to participate in, as well as recruiting walkers for September 23rd. The company will also be matching all donations.
