Now in its 23rd year, the Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Benefit turned out to be a great success. Although the weather called for scattered thunderstorms, the sun shined through and it turned out to be a beautiful day! Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester Hills once again hosted the event held on June 4. Wright & Filippis® would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who came out to participate in the benefit. Without the continued support of the participants and sponsors, none of this would be possible. Also kudos to Sherri Szep who coordinated the event.
The beneficiaries of this year's benefit are The Filippis FoundationSM, Athletes with Disabilities Hall of FameSM, Lighthouse of Oakland County's Senior Services Program, Trailblazer Program, A Learning for Life Program of the Detroit Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, Angel's Place and Otsego County Commission on Aging.
