Three Day Walk to Cure Breast Cancer

The Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk is a 60 mile, 3 day journey to raise money for breast cancer research. For the past six years I have been a mastectomy fitter at Wright & Filippis, working in the Kalamazoo facility, so being involved in something like this only felt natural. I needed to raise a minimum of $2,200.00 to qualify to walk and with the help of my fellow employees and the charitable donation matched by Wright & Filippis, I was able to participate. While walking, I met another Wright & Filippis participant, Adrienne Pandori, from the Warren facility. The enthusiasm and support of my family, friends, co-workers and patients of Wright & Filippis was overwhelming. I would like to express my heartfelt "Thank You" to all that had a part in making this happen. It was such a great experience and I plan on participating again next year.
