WELCOME
to the March/April 2008 edition
of the Online Communicator

"Springtime is the land awakening. The March winds are the morning yawn."
– Quoted by Lewis Grizzard in Kathy Sue Loudermilk, I Love You

Welcome to the latest edition of the Online Communicator. A few events to look forward to in the upcoming months include: The Michigan Health & Rehab Conference on Friday, April 18, 2008. The conference will take place at the Sheraton Detroit Novi and is intended to address the multiple issues facing our rehabilitation patients and those caring for them and their families. The Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Benefit will be held on Monday, June 2, 2008. Now in its 24th year, the outing will take place at the Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester. For information on both events please contact Sherri Szep at (248) 829-8277.

Inside this issue you will read about Orthotist Sean McKale and his journey to raise money for spinal cord injury research. Read on to learn facts about spinal cord injury.

Also in this issue, meet our new assistive technology providers. This voluntary credential process has been developed to ensure customer safeguards and increase customer satisfaction.

And this time the Facility Spotlight is on our Livonia facility, which now has a new location. Located at 29100 Plymouth Rd. Livonia, MI 48150, it is nearly twice the size of the old building.

Finally, in the Letter from the Prez, AJ Filippis explains some accomplishes made in the home healthcare field and brings to attention that possible issues could arise with the 2008 elections.

As always, please enjoy the newest edition of the Online Communicator!
