Filippis (center) and Home Medical Equipment Director Tim Hatt (far right) were among the W&F staff who recently attended a breakfast reception celebrating the distinguished service of Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan. Sen. Stabenow was recently appointed to the Senate Finance Committee which has jurisdiction over a wide range of important issues; All legislation regarding Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid is referred to the Finance Committee. |

| Wright & Filippis employees stepped up to the plate once again for Dick Purtan's annual radiothon to benefit the Salvation Army's Bed & Bread Program. Employees staged a special "Jean Day" to raise more than $700, and then a team of W&F employees helped the staff of Credit Union One answer phones and take pledges during the radiothon. In all, the 16-hour broadcast on Detroit's 104.3 WOMC raised more than $2 million for this very important cause! |

| WSpearheaded by Liz Vermeulen, Mike Thompson and the W&F staff in Kalamazoo, Wright & Filippis employees made the holidays truly special through their generous involvement in the "Adopt a Family for Christmas" program. Donations included furniture, clothing, toys, household items, food even haircuts! "It was absolutely amazing the response that we received," said Vermeulen. "Words can't express just how terrific it felt to help this family in need." |

| When Distribution Manager Tom Hopkins created the "Monkeys for Matt" program in memory of former employee Matt McAllister, could he have imagined that the W&F staff would climb on board to make such a sizable annual contribution to Toys for Tots? "The generosity of Wright & Filippis employees never ceases to amaze me," said HME Director Tim Hatt as he and Hopkins presented more than 600 toys and $1,450 to Jim Harper of WMGC-FM in Detroit. |

Many people are unaware that Wright & Filippis is the leading local provider of oxygen and other respiratory services throughout Michigan and Northwest Ohio. The Wright & Filippis Respiratory Care Services staff recently gathered and humored the marketing department's request for a group photo as the company observed "Respiratory Care Week" (which was also recognized in a proclamation by Gov. Jennifer Granholm).
