WELCOME
to the Winter/Spring 2010 edition of the Online Communicator
Welcome to the latest edition of the Online Communicator. In this issue, we explore an inspiring story about Homes for Our Troops, a nonprofit organization that builds specially adapted homes for returning disabled veterans. A young local hero, U.S. Army Spc. Alex Knapp, is featured.
Just in time for spring, we focus on losing weight healthfully and provide a guide for eating well when you need to heal. In this article we explore tips to healthy living, including a few recipes to help you on your way. We have also highlighted some strategies that really do work to help you lose weight in a healthy way. This time the spotlight is on our Clarkston facility. We are very excited to announce they have moved to a larger and more convenient location. Also, we have opened up a new location in East Tawas, which specializes in prosthetics and orthotics. Congratulations are awarded to the Saginaw location for being the "Best of the Best" voted by readers of the Saginaw News. Exciting changes are taking place, announcing the new Athletes with Disabilities Network. The Athletes with Disabilities Hall of Fame and the Extremity Events Network have merged creating a new entity that is devoted to promoting a better quality of life by creating opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities. Discover innovative products! A new Infant 3-D Cranial Scanner makes life easier for both baby and parents. Also, a new treatment for Foot Drop is available, the Ness L300™. Wright & Filippis is proud to be one of the first companies in Michigan to utilize these new technologies. Please enjoy the latest edition of the Online Communicator.
