WELCOME
to the Fall/Winter 2011 edition of the Online Communicator
Welcome to the latest edition of the Online Communicator. In this issue, you’ll read about how Wright & Filippis is growing to meet its patients needs. This is achieved through the introduction of a new program, Orthotic Specialty Services (OSS), which simplifies the order/prescription process to benefit patients and their physicians. This is also achieved through the company’s recent efforts to acquire certain assets of MOS (formerly Michigan Orthopedic Services) this development will truly benefit prosthetic and orthotics patients throughout the area.
We also recap the successful events we’ve hosted in 2011, including this past year’s Michigan Health & Rehab Conference which had over 200 people in attendance. The 27th Annual Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Benefit enjoyed beautiful weather and raised the most funds to date as an incredible $90,000 was collected for local charities. Lastly, another great year for Camp YesICan has come and gone, and we’d like to extend a special “thank you” to all the volunteers who helped make it possible it couldn’t be done without you. Finally, the Wright & Filippis Central Intake Action Team continues to make a difference in the community. Most recently they held a drive to collect goods for Grace Centers of Hope, which resulted in an inspiring 969 donations. Way to go, Central Intake Action Team! Please enjoy the latest edition of the Online Communicator. As always, we welcome your feedback. Please direct your comments to lyndsey.k@wright-filippis.com.
