WELCOME
to the Spring 2011 edition of the Online Communicator
Welcome to the latest edition of the Online Communicator. In this issue, we explore the Wright & Filippis Breathe Wright program which helps physicians manage the care of patients diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Wright & Filippis believes this program can help increase the quality of life of these patients.
Also in this issue we spotlight Jim Wazny, a Prosthetic Technician at the Saginaw Wright & Filippis facility, who took home the Bronze Medal in the ESPN Winter X Games Adaptive Snocross. An above-knee amputee, Wazny is an inspiration to us all! Event alert! This year's Michigan Health & Rehab Conference will be held Thursday, April 21st in Sterling Heights... Gear up for the 27th Annual Gene Filippis Memorial Golf Outing, which will be taking place on Monday, June 6th at Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester... And last (but not least!), the Wright & Filippis Wheelchair Daze Picnic now in its 31st year will take place on Saturday, August 6th at Independence Oaks County Park in Clarkston. Finally, we recognize the amazing efforts of our staff during the most recent Toys for Tots toy drive. Wright & Filippis employees gathered an incredible 1,300 toys and donated $4,000 in checks to the Toys for Tots organization. Please enjoy the latest edition of the online Communicator. As always, we welcome your feedback. Please direct your comments to lyndsey.t@wright-filippis.com.
