Ron Johnson has been an American Board Certified Prosthetist, C.P. since 1994. He has been providing Prosthetic Services for Wright & Filippis at their Lansing, MI location since 2004. Ron specializes in Lower Extremity Prosthetics. He is certified to fit Otto Bock’s Genium & C-Leg Computer Knee systems, Ossur’s RHEO, Symbionic leg, & Power Knee systems, and Freedom Innovations Plie Computer Knee system. Ron utilizes the most up-to-date suspension and prosthetic foot options including electronic vacuum systems for his patients.
Ron annually presents lower extremity immediate post-operative lectures for Michigan State University’s Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residents and Orthopedic Surgeon residents.
Ron received a bachelor’s of science degree in psychology with a rehabilitation emphasis from Central Missouri State University. He received a post graduate certification in prosthetics from Shelby State in Tennessee.
