The Pediatric Prosthetic and Orthotic technology has continued to improve patient outcomes as new products are introduced. The prosthetic industry continues to look for more functional products such as feet, knees, hands and elbows while the Orthotic industry has developed specialized bracing for pediatric patients such as the First ever 3D printed Cranial re-shaping helmet including plagiocephalic-, brachycephalic-, and scaphocephalic for shaping heads. The Orthotic industry is also looking at ways we can scan and develop 3 D printing AFO;s, KAFO’s and Spinal orthosis.
