The Pediatric Prosthetic and Orthotic technology has continued to improve patient outcomes as new products are introduced. The prosthetic industry continues to look for more functional products such as feet, knees, hands and elbows while the Orthotic industry has developed specialized bracing for pediatric patients such as the First ever 3D printed Cranial re-shaping helmet including plagiocephalic-, brachycephalic-, and scaphocephalic for shaping heads. The Orthotic industry is also looking at ways we can scan and develop 3 D printing AFO;s, KAFO’s and Spinal orthosis. Orthotic Fitter, Certified Athletic Trainer

Sean has been an orthotic fitter with Wright & Filippis since January of 2021, with previous experience as an orthotic fitter in the Metro Detroit area. Sean graduated from Michigan State University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Athletic Training and Kinesiology, and also graduated from West Virginia University with a Masters in Athletic Training. Sean is currently finishing his Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics at Northwestern University and will start his orthotic residency in May 2021.
